cloud 9 wedding ~ Kathi and Charlie at the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield

We were lucky enough to get to work with Kathi and Charlie on their April Fool’s Day Wedding at the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.  Together, they wanted to create an unique, fun atmosphere filled with bright colors, jokes, and a good time.  With a rustic, country esque theme, we filled the room with coke bottles filled with flowers and using straws for the escort cards along with bright oranges, greens, and hot pink.  Charlie’s daughter, Lily was the flower girl and in all of their eyes you could see the excitement and love between them all.  After a dinner full of hamburgers with blueberry ketchup and strawberry mustard, sweet potato fries and an April Fool’s Cake, Kathi and Charlie kicked off the evening with a choreographed dance to the songs Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy, and Stayin’ Alive.  It was a great way to open the evening to dancing and get all of the guests movin’ and ready to party!
