When burlap comes to mind, what is your initial thought? We imagine you are thinking sack of potatoes? Well, think again, we are talking about wedding decor. Yes, we are as surprised as you are that burlap is in a wedding essential, but we love it! It brings a rustic feel to an elegant affair. Burlap can be dressed up or dressed down. Wrap it around a bouquet or have burlap table runners. One of our favorite bakeries here in Denver, Intricate Icings, even made a burlap cake. Who knew that burlap would work for weddings? Many of our brides this year have hopped on the burlap train and incorporated it into their weddings and we just can’t get enough of it!
