Downtown Denver Winter Wedding ~ Stacey and Gideon
Downtown Denver Winter Wedding – Grand Hyatt. Gorgeous.
When we met with Stacey and Gideon, we knew that we were going to have a blast with them! This urban couple live downtown and met online. Gideon was going to propose to Stacey while celebrating with their friends during a Bronco game. Stacey accidentally fell asleep so he had to move go to plan b and asked later that evening at their house!
Their vision was to treat guests to the downtown Denver experience for their winter wedding and the Grand Hyatt on the 38th floor was the perfect location with it’s 360 degree view of Denver. The minute we walked the space, they fell in love. Their colors were white, silver and gold and the design for their wedding was timeless with a contemporary twist. Their invitations featured an embossed circle design while using silver and gold ink. This carried throughout the wedding in the linens, florals, cake and personal touches.
A Design Resource knocked it out of the park with gold succulents, mirrored surfaces, gorgeous white blooms with gold and silver enhancements. We used their amazing acrylic escort card holder so that the Denver backdrop was viseable through it to give that city feel. The cards themselves were on silver and gold shimmer paper. It was stunning and certainly a conversation piece for guests.
It all came full circle during the cocktail hour when the crowd erupted finding out that the Broncos had made it int the Super Bowl! The Diamond Empire Band and Light Booth kept the guests rocking all night long.
A HUGE thank you to Frances at Frances Photography capturing these FABULOUS images.
We couldn’t do it without our fabulous vendor team: Grand Hyatt Denver, Frances Photography, A Design Resource, A Touch of Class, Diamond Empire Band, Chair Covers & Linens, Light Booth and Anna Be‘.
